Watching my mom struggle with bras as she got older opened my eyes to a problem many women quietly deal with.
 

What once seemed like a simple part of getting dressed became difficult. She often needed help fastening the hooks, fixing the straps, and adjusting the band until it felt comfortable enough to wear.
 

The hardest part was knowing she never liked bras in the first place. She would say they felt too tight, too restrictive, and sometimes squeezed her chest so much that it felt hard to breathe.
 

As she aged, those everyday struggles became harder to ignore. Reaching the hooks became more difficult, the straps irritated her skin, and the pressure around her chest made wearing a bra feel more like a burden than support.
 

Watching that made me wonder why women were expected to simply put up with it.
 

I wanted to find something easier for her. Something she could wear without asking for help, struggling with hooks, or feeling trapped by wires and tight bands.

That search became Glamorkit.
